Anyone got a clue how expensive a [dealer] fix is for this prob? I'm NOT a do-it-yourselfer :)

Button appears to be stuck down. You can easily pry the door open manually but I prefer to have a locking unit...

THanks

why pry... (hey that rythmes) isnt there a manual release stringy thing in the trunk behind the carpet on the side where the fuel door is???

go to autozone and get a small switch of the same size, in this case you either need to get used to the release in the trunk or spend a LOT for the stupid button.

mine is still broken and im not paying the 75 or so (yes they actually quoted me on that) for the button, autozone sells ones just like it for about 2$ max....

broken fuel button

so it's the button on the door that is broken, not something at the fuel door?

I tried that little string thing in the trunk... it doesn't work either

if the string doesnt work then it is something in the release mechanism in the gas door. i know on ebay theres the part u may need, if the button is stuck then its the button thats at fault.
