gaskets

anyone had to replace there head gaskets,if so what brand did you buy.ford, fel-pro or other brands.just trying to get a idea if someone used aftermarket gaskets and if they had good luck with them.gonna have to pop the heads on my ls .does anyone make aftermarket chains and guieds for them to.my car is a 01 v-8.thanks for the info.

I've only used the OEM - bought them from Torrie.

well - a lincoln-mercury tech would know the difference....
there are no aftermarket chains, tensioners, ...that I know of.

If you're going for any extra performance, you might look at using ARP studs and Cometic head gaskets
