Gear change, speedo calibration, cruise control

in considering a gear change reduction (3.07:1 to 3.73 or 4.10 :1) a speedcal can be used for for mph correction; this part (M-4209ADPT-AC) suggests that cruise control will stop working with a gear reduction >or=5%...has anyone experienced that first hand?

why not just spend 10 bucks and buy the right speedo gear? thats what i did

I think id go with this one just because im cheap. does the same thing. I have not heard of cruise control not working. I was using cruise control yesterday right after i swapped out my gears. Id set my car to mph and then id use gps to find out how fast i was really going.

the cruise in my car worked fine. then it broke, sometimes it works, sometimes not. not gear swap related though.

looks like that occurs on (Mustang) 2005-2010's..not 94-'04
