Looking for torque specs/sequence for gen2 v8. Specificaly driver side.. Very limited space on the bottom of the cover. Fuel line has to be disconnected to remove it? Seems all of the older links here are dead.

Yep, you have to disconnect the fuel line and move a few things aside. And yep pretty cozy on that side..

Image is LH bolt sequence
Torque spec is 89 lb-in (10Nm) for the valve covers

Attached procedure for LH as well

Pretty much all the small bolts on the engine are 89 inch/lbs.

The fuel line disconnect takes a special tool. Put the tool over the fuel line an press firmly... and the fuel line will come apart.

do not pull the dippy stick out of the dippy stick tube

you will never ever ever ever ever be able to get it back in

Maybe not never, but it certainly can add hours of frustration to the job...

No way would the dip tube lift enough its a long stud.. had to bend the bracket.. definitely wasnt going to remove it. Fuel line came off very easy seemingly without the tool.. Wasnt easy with a ton of dirt on the top side of the cover and crumbling wiring harness trying to fall in. Going to put it back tomorrow after I figure out what socket combo to use to torque the bottom botls.. forget what RTV I used last time but it never leaked. Have some regular black on hand hope its enough..
