Valves were cleaned and reused in most instances.

easy peasy job lol however i coudnt get my pcv off for the life of me.

I was under the assumption the gen 2's didnt have a EGR... I never found mine when doing this exact job. I have a 2005 v6.

I've done this job 3 times on my V6 2001. I recommend buying Magnum gaskets, they are much bigger and fatter than OEM. They stop the leaks! I never replaced the intake manifold gaskets after the first time, it works just fine with the old ones. I purchased some new gaskets for the tuning valve online, not oem, placed one gasket in the groove and another at the top of the valve so i got a double seal. Never another leak there either. not a hard job, just time consuming, while you have it all apart, replace all the vacuum hoses with better hoses.
