Getting ready for winter..

Move to Florida...IMO :)

+1! :D

And be miserable for half the year, no thanks.:p

Miserable? I'd be miserable knowing I can't use my car for 5 months! I'm actually sitting back drinking while watching all of you have to "prep" your cars for the winter. I'm very happy using my car year round & RUST FREE!!!:p

Same thing used to happen on the waverunner forums. I'd see threads about ppl prepping waverunners for hibernation while I was still racing my waverunner down here in Miami.

PS: I HATE MIAMI but I LOVE Florida. I think I'm moving next door to Jamie so he can have a Cuban living right next to him!!!

Well, it's starting to get cold at night/early morning here in Oklahoma. Car ticks 30-40 seconds at start-up in the cold, then when it idles down, it goes away. Is this normal? What can I do to possibly quiet it down?

imho, the oil filter won't make a difference on tensioner rattle on startup if thats where your headed sbcap. If its the tensioner it will only rattle for a few seconds (1-5 or so.) I've had two Marks and trying different filter/oil combos made zero difference. If its doing it for 30-40 seconds they are really screwed or there something else wrong...

I hope nothing else is wrong...it did overheat once because the cooling system was not bled properly, so I don't know what it is. :shifty: I just hope it's nothing serious and messes up the motor. Maybe a thicker oil to quiet it down? It's not loud, just annoying sometimes.

I am getting ready for winter too, doing laundry washing all my winter shorts lmfao!!!!!!!!!!!!!
