Hey everyone i am having issues with my glitch ballast, all it does is flicker every few seconds any ideas??
thanks for you help

Assuming it's hooked up correctly, have you messed with the adjustment yet?

I hope it is wired up correctly it was on the car when I bought it, I did turn the dial but not a lot just a little both ways and nothing, Thanks For replying!

I'd go ahead and recheck the wiring since you didn't put it in yourself. Get some rotation in both clockwise and counter clockwise, I remember reading that you really gotta twist it to get it to change. If everything checks out and it still doesn't work you might be looking at a defective neon or ballast.

Is there visible moisture or mold in the light?

Definitely check the connections. I've seen that on glitch ballasts before that just had butt connectors used. Soldering the connections is preferable.

there is no visible damage inside it looks good, I will try the adjusting, when I got the car a couple months ago it worked but only with parking lights, and I have checked all the connections except the ones that connect to the bulb as they r taped up pretty good will look into those tomorrow, Thanks!

Take the tape off and check to make sure everything is soldered and shrink wrapped. The adjustment on the unit takes many turns to make any difference. Take your time and it will be good.

those connections are all shrink wrapped and look good im going to mess with the adjustment does it matter what way i turn it? thanks everyone for your help i was hoping i would not have any neon problems with this ballast

From my Ballasts packet

"Inverter adjustment for parking light intensity"

There have been a couple of inverters that need an additional 7-10 turns counter clock wise (CCW)
Adjustment:
Turn the screw CCW until you see the neon start to dim
Then turn the screw CW until the neon has just obtained its full brightness
Then back the screw off CCW 5.5 turns

adjustment did nothing and all connections are good I think I have a bad ballast :( this is crappy I took the only good one from any wreckers around here for the other one that I traded this one for, will have to find a new one I guess. thanks for everyones help
