well guys.......I'm leaving work early tomorrow to go look at 5 different MarkVIII's. I finally talked my buddy into getting a 2ndGen. We have to drive to quincy tomorrow, and are driving down to St. Louis on saturday. Pics will be posten upon return.


Hell, If I find one I like......I may finally get the 2nd gen I've been wanting.
 
I don't know Mike. Us Gen2 guys have a pretty exclusive club. Did you put your application in for review? You know it has to be approved before any Gen1 owner can step up to a Gen2!

hey Gen 2 just means you have OBDII and not OBDI
right

yeah iv been in there i just didnt post that in there was gona get around to it just did
 
well i found out you guys say that the gen 2s are the ones with the light that light up all the way across the back
and my continental would be consider a gen 7 or 8 on the contie couse there where so many of them i guess
well i still conside my self a UFO like someone sed
couse i have my Light neon light that light up all the way across the back
i would realy consider buysing 98 or newer if they still had that on them but i dont like the new light on the newer ones i dont like them
now when and if its time to get a new engine ill take a eninge from a 98 or newer and put it in my 95
im planing on buying one of those Gen2 marks preatysoon maybe in a year and half when i get the work to my COntie done would like to half 1 of each so i can conti for awinter car and mark for a summer car :)

Ya, Gen II app... requires you to be a little more feminine!! It matches the softer curves of the Gen II body. LOL. :N
 
hey mike you havnt sed a word about how the search when did you find anything for you buddy
what about yourself you get a new mark gen 2 yet

I've saved this little tidbit in the archives to use to hit Rich over the head when he picks up his 1st Gen2.

Back finally......Jeb,(my buddy) just bought a 97 pearl white/tan leather interior with 75,000 miles. paid 7,500 out the door. This car is FLAWLESS. The chrome is perfect on the octastars, and the leather feels and smells new.

He found a good deal on it, but I did'nt find one i wanted. maybe next time.

I may be buying one anyway. Jeb just found out his wife is expecting, and will need to buy a 4door. He asked me if i wanted to buy it off of him. I'm seriously thinking about it too.

just get a 96 and youll have 94 95 96 and then 97 in a row :)
