Serg, I found out about the bad injector while I was gettting my oil changed, right after change, I only drove n10-12 miles, should I get another o/c? Haven't had any reason to check fuel pump...
Driller, Serg, sorry I didn't describe the rattle sound better... When I picked my Mark up I asked aobut it, he couldn't hear it, it was barely noticeable, I wanted to chalk it off to bad gas..but I know the bad gas sound...and kinda knew it wasn't. After another week, had to back to shop (for some of the problems in post 12) while I was there I and asked about it, he couldn't hear it still. Well it is getting noticable now. It sounds like something is lose....up, on, by, or near the center back part of the engine, say..maybe around that bolt that is impossible to get to when you take the air intake off (kinda in the center of car, under the windshiled wipers.
Driller, I never knew I had a octane plug, will have to check it out. I only use 93 or 94 in him, I don't think it is bad gas, but I wil investigate the octane plug next!
I am really concerned about the whole posi traction...I told him two months ago about that, he told me not to do burn outs on the new gears yet...let them get at least 500 miles on them...., I did, and he helped (once again I was sent out of town, makes it hard to keep things, ummmm ,timely...). So when I did light into him 2 weeks ago, still no posi and that is when he said he would need him for a week. I think he also said he wants to go over all the work that was done....I thought he did it all, I will have to get more clarification fron him about that.

If the noise seems to come from the wiper motor/dash area it might be just an EGR tube leak. I had that on my red Mark. Not really impossible to repair but it's not a fun job.

When I bought mine the check engine light was coming on and it was idling bad.
Maybe Bill is describing the same thing On the right side of the engine (passenger side) they replaced a tube that was made out of rubber close to the firewall.
I was thinking to have the fuel pump pressure checked for numerous reasons. How many miles on Tux and was the fuel pump replaced yet?
