I've had my dealings with 1 or 2 crooked/racist cops. I'd say 98% i have met are descent and fair people.
I can think of 2 things off the top of my head right now. Go to court, you have a slim chance he won't show. Tell the truth, it will get you further then embellishing. Then ask for a probational period. Usually a year with no tickets and they drop it, but you will have to pay the fine.
The second option will not make you any friends and might put you in the cross hairs. Get the officers name and pull all public records on him, all his certifications, cert for the speed gun he used, if it was calibrateted and such. If he has anything out of cert you will get off, but he's gonna look real bad in court.
Also if he has harrased others, file a report on him after the case. I found out the guy that pulled me over had a real bad habit harrasing white people, so after I got out of the ticket he lied his ass off about, and added 6 other charges to that were not on my copy of the ticket, I filed a complaint on him.
All in all, lifes not fair, getting pulled over because you drive a lincoln is not fair, it just comes with the territory. I got pulled over 7 times in one month, for my tint on the drivers/pass window, front tint strip 6", and license plate cover. Its all still their, but now I know every state tropper from port huron down to my grandma's house
