I was just wondering if the ls has any speed governor I had it at 130 what is the top speed of these cars

Yes, depending on year and V8/V6.

My '02 LS Sport has no governor. I hold two one-mile National Land Speed Records---E/FSS & E/FCC in events sanctioned by ECTA. One is 138.450 and the other is 140.106. Read 'Land Speed LS' in the performance section.

Sure, I think it's about 150. Then the car can't overcome the drag. You'd need to add a splitter and under body panels to reduce drag.

the first gen V8's dont have one, all the V6's and GEn2 have one that limits at like 137...
