If the police did not come after he called he needs to speak with the man in charge, not another peon that cannot do his job properly. Speaking to another lackey will get him nowhere other than a "Oh, Im sorry sir." This needs the attention of the commanding officer. Their complete and utter disregard of the situation is something that needs to be addressed. Walking in and demanding to speak to the chief is also going to get you laughed at and a instant attitude from the officer you are speaking to.

Do you honestly think that a chief of police of any department larger than 2 officers is going to talk to you on your demand:lol:? You can walk in and file a report, usually with the desk officer.

Sorry but that reads out to me and probably a lot of other people that you're telling him to call and tell them that he is going to beat this guys ass or you are threatening them if they don't do something.

It was meant in a past tense (as was plainly obvious, Not to do now) and in a way that lets them know that you need an officer on the scene for whatever reason, at the time of the incident. You never make threats, and in the way I stated does not indicate what might happen and from whom.

I know that here in Cincinnati if you need to speak to the commanding officer they do not have a problem with speaking to you. Or if you have to leave a message they will return the call. I really dont think you are understanding what I am saying here. There ISN'T a problem with him filing a report. There IS however a problem with the police department that WE pay for, not showing up when called upon or needed.

Sorry I misunderstood you, but I think a lot of people would read what you wrote the wrong way also. You should have said something to the effect of, In the past I have found it very effective to let them know that if they don't show up that the person may flee.

You really need to file a police report ASAP!! Here is why: This guy and his friends have already demonstrated the kind of people they are by trying to leave. With the damage to his bike, don't be surprised if he comes after you for the damage to his bike. You were parking in a through fare and believe it or not, depending on the courts where you live, he might get away with it. I have seen stranger things happen. It sucks, but there is always a scummy lawyer out there waiting for these types of cases.
Get the report and go after him, before he goes after you.

yes, she fired up her Blackberry video and got the aftermath and his license plate and driver on video. plus he gave me his DL and ins card. chances are he wont, but ya never know, he might just man up. im gonna give him the benifit of the doubt.

As for the cops they wont come to an accident around here (Ca.)unless you tell them there were young children involved or there has been an injury.

I think you can demand someone to show up but they will surely take thier sweet time.

No, I never met the guy before. as a result of the impact, his BB phone fell off his belt, loaded with before and after pics of his bike, and a huge contact list, call log, complete with a few, well, lets say, homemade videos. lol.

yes there are loads of Marks down here, unfortunatly Texas doesnt allow salvage yards to sell the entire vehicle once its in the yard
