Fossten: There were other memos and intel prior to the August one. The point I'm trying to make is that Bush Co. did NOTHING about the memo. It was just luck that the attacks occurred 30 days afterwards. Would it make any difference if the attacks happend 60, 90 or 120 days after the IGNORED memo? The result would have been the same...Bush ignored critical intel.
Pepper: Yes...the Bush administration sent $43 million dollars to the Taliban in Afghanistan at the start of 2001 for "aid".....I'm sure the Taliban used that $$$$ for the good of the people and their nation.

You know... I can think of much better ways to spend 43 million dollars on Americans.... schools, veterans, homeless, put it back into the deficit etc.
