Halfway done with the eibachs

ok so i got the new eibachs from tire rack today, a few things i can tell from comparing the front springs from jwerner and tire rack is
1: the eibachs of 9 1/2 coils and is compressed more where as the ones from jwerner are 8 1/2 coils
2: the eibachs are clearly shorter
3: the eibachs are a completely different color, they are like a dark metallic gray and the ones from jwerner are black
4: eibachs have the part number on them jwerners didn't
and 5: i'm pretty sure i got screwed!!!! :mad:

Is it too late to file a complaint with ebay and paypal, cause he clearly meant to screw someone over by selling those springs.
 
i should have know too the when i emailed him he would deny it but it was worth a shot
 
Yup that is totally a stock spring. I would be pissed about the time wasted changing out the rears with the exact same springs. lol

I'd like to see JWerner come on here start cussing people out and defend himself against this one like he tried to do with me. I still gave him the benifit of the doubt, but here he clearly did not send Eibachs and it sounds like (from your correspondence with him) he doesn't care at all. I don't know about you guys but if I accidently sent someone the wrong springs I would make it right. Even if it was two months later, it begs the question, what did he do with the real Eibachs? Or were there any?
 
Looks like you got the stock ones and not the Eibachs.

i would assume so its been almost 3 months since i bought them from him

well when i emailed him i told him that they weren't eibach and that they didn't have eibach on them at all or part number and were the same as the stock, he told me they were scratched from the compressor he used and that that were slightly shorter than his stock springs and will compress after some time

the real eibachs are probably still on his car because he's a :q:q:qgot and takes it in the butt every night
 
Or he could have gotten hosed himself, didn't someone post his car a way back and he claimed he got some different springs because he wasnt satisfied with the drop from the eibachs, and the pics of his car were very low. Lower than springtech it looked like.

So it's possible he bought those springs and thought they were eibachs the whole time, put them on, wasn't satisfied and sold them as eibachs as well.


I dunno.
 
I'm not here to defend him but if i had to guess id say he might have gotten ripped off himself. I dont know where he got them from but he was very unhappy and thats why he decided to change to canuck springs. I know for a fact that he has those on his car right now. Not the real eibachs

Yup this is what my last post is referring to, I think he was told himself that they were eibachs, and put them on.

do you guys think i would still be able to file a paypal claim since it hasn't been 90 days yet
 
ok so no i can't dispute it, it said that the type of transaction can not be disputed? stupid paypal
 
Damn. That sucks. Try emailing him again with proof. I didn't think he would do that either but man that sucks. Andrzzle point of view could be true as well. If you wouldn't have bought new eibachs, you wouldn't have known they weren't eibahcs and prob not been satisfied with the drop and sold them to someone as eibachs and went with something lower.

Werner could have bought them second hand and not known they were not real Eibachs. But wouldn't he have compared them to the stock springs? Or not seen Eibach on them anywhere? I bought both my sets second hand and both times they where just fine. To me having it be the exact same stance would have been a big indicator that they are not Eibachs.
At least now you know you have the real thing.

true i am glad i bought the real ones, but i'm also pissed i'm out 167 dollars, but at least i can sell the honestly as stock springs
