I forgot to look at the box when I stopped. From what I remember it was her that sent it... From the sound of it when talking about getting delivery confirmation and stuff, she was the one doing it.

If it was sent form Marc (or someone else) she may not have known the tab was broken...thats why she said it wasn't her's... I dont know, this is dumb... I bored with it already until Short comes back and starts calling Hinzy names (popcorn moment !!!!)
 
Glad this thread is on a Friday, it has kept things interesting at work. All of this fuss is over a headlight....I have two Gen I HID headlights for sale although I won't be able to post pics.
 
Hinzy....package delivered just now. I have my driver's side HID back.

All good on my end.

OP should have got a pic before hand. I dont have anything to contribute other than Shortcircuit said she had a hid for sale in august via PM. She didnt send a picture of the light she offered to sell me, and I did not ask to see one because i wasnt interested. passed the lead onto marcredd a few weeks ago and he apparently passed to OP.

shortcircuit said she is in columbus, but i have never met her, so i cannot say anything about her character.

Hope you guys work it out. To the OP, if you've already returned stuff because it wasn't up to snuff, why didn't YOU demand better pictures? Honestly, you should only be pointing fingers at the guy in the mirror at this point...

A quick look at E-bay indicates used halogen headlights are $50 to $80. The one used HID headlight that I saw was $300. In any event, there's a really big difference between the HID headlight he bought and the halogen one that he received.

I agree... and now I would never deal with her again based on how she is dealing with her mistake.

She chose to let the paypal claim process play out.... they decided in my favor so I am sending the light back to her today. Once she gets It paypal is supposed to refund me most of my money. I'm still out the shipping charge both ways at this point which is a loss of about $50 unless she does the right thing and sends me the money.

It would have been a lot easier for her to just refund me herself and had this done already. I could have moved on and purchased another one that I wanted that was found for a very good price (which is now sold). But instead she drug this out and had poor communication.

I'm going with she honestly thought it was HID... maybe based off the HID mark on the housing. I honestly don't know. She hasn't been very forthcoming in the process.

I think it's clear in the facebook pictures marc posted that it was in fact a halogen. Mistakes were made both ways, I just want to get it done with and she seemed intent on dragging it out. Maybe she didn't have the money to refund, I dont know. But all it takes is simple conversation to explain the situation, admit fault and work something out.
 
I would understand giving benefit of the doubt, but she came into this thread and posted that the light in the photo was not what she had sent.

I guess the postman must have broken the light, opened the box and spend the time hot glueing the tab back on. Yea, surely.
 
She is still continuing to drag this out.... I would suggest nobody ever deal with her again.

She is obviously not willing to help when things go bad

Finally recieved most of my money back from paypal.... she still owes me shipping and will not reply to texts.
