Harry Reid Letter Smearing Rush Limbaugh on Ebay

You can thank the Patriot act for stripping away evan more of Americans freedoms, but conservitive close their eyes to it and blindly follow.

Boo hooo. Cry me some tears. Please explain to all of us the freedoms YOU HAVE LOST under the Patriot act.

I love the bible spewing baby killers part.:shifty:

No man , its mono focused, stuffed shirt, bible spewing, baby killers that are the problem.
The original post is about donating $s to the war machine,(and yes I donate to the D.A.V) Not Rush has been censored . As far as censorship yes I have a problem with it!!!! What do you care about Americans' freedoms? 20,000 gun laws have stripped away much of the 2nd Amendment. Political correctness and lawsuits have stripped away much of the First. That is the work of liberals, not conservatives.

And what is "mono focused?"

Americans have lost their right to privacy for starters. The $s spent on the war could have improved America, our roads, bridges, and tunnels are falling apart .Many of our schools doent have modern text books or computors not to mention the bldings them selfs are outdated, fire stations, and public works dept etc are out of date, we are told that there is no money for any of this unless taxses are raised, clearly the Feds have the $s to fix these problems but they rather drop 800million a day on a war that most citizens dont want.

Who has lost their "right to privacy" specifically? You'll have to elaborate, just making the statement isn't enough.

And, in case you didn't know, the federal government doesn't fund education, that's a State and LOCAL issue. So the war isn't taking away from the education budget.

...imagine how good the public schools might have been during the 40s if the federal government simply avoided getting involved with WW2 and just spent it on text books.

You have to get beyond your entitlement mentality which I know is inbred in Democrats.

Sit back and take a world view. Iraq and Iran in control of the world's oil supply is a bad, bad thing. Saddam and I'madinnerjacket with nukes is a bad thing.

Had we sat back and done nothing would have led to a nuclear attack on our soil sooner than later (and later is inevitable). Nobody has looked at the cost of the 9/11 attacks. How much money has it cost this country in terms of higher costs and lower productivity. You may claim not to feel it but it the costs are there and tangible.

Had Clinton not made such a big deal about Iraq WMD's, maybe Bush wouldn't have been forced to deal with it after Clinton all but ignored it (all talk, no action).

Defense spending isn't a drop in the bucket compared to the enormous amount of absolutely WASTED money spent on the war on poverty. More than two thirds of our federal budget go to entitlements. You want to rethink that issue?

That is True ,but the money is there and could be used to better help the American people in many ways.

I Dont think you can compare ww2 to Iraq.I agree Bin-ladden needs to be brought to justice, but he feds didnt bomb neighborhoods looking for the Uni-bomber and they caught him

"help the American people"? Eleven TRILLION dollars has already been spent to "help the American people" and it hasn't accomplished diddly squat. Please enlighten us. Show us your brilliant plan to "help the American people." Anything involving throwing more of our money at the problem will be scoffed at.

Better to show actual court cases than to spew propaganda. I will agree on this point.

PATRIOT Act court case results

Wow. One (1) case of abuse in 300,000,000 and only because of a botched fingerprint analysis.

Or One (1) bomb that takes out 3,000,000.

Take your pick.
Hey, as long as the government owns up to its mistakes and compensates for them in the millions of dollars, I don't have such a huge problem with it. It's when Hillary gets elected and starts using it like she used her 900 FBI files that I start getting queasy. Look how many laws she's broken already and has gotten clean away with it. That much power in the wrong hands...

Well, there is your problem. You aren't getting info from any intellegent and/or informed sources. Whoever told you there is no money for any of these programs unless we raise taxes is ignorant on a number of levels. The most obvious one is economics. By saying we need to raise taxes to fund these programs, he is implying that raising taxes increases government revenue, which has been proven false. The more taxes are lowered, the more revenues increase (it's called the laffer curve, proven under Kennedy, Reagan and Bush jr., look it up). More revenue equals more money for that can then be used for these programs you want us to waste it on.

Second, you are assuming the government is spending this money in an effecient manner, and is just lacking funds, which is about the most ignorant assumption I have ever seen. Most, if not all of the programs you cite could be run better at a fraction of the cost by the private sector.

please use your brain before you respond again. thanks.

By the way, Rush was given an award this week at a dinner for MCLEF (the charity he gave the $4.2 million to):
