its been awhile, more like 6-7 months since i even took the engine blanket off of her.
but parts started lying aound.
and theres even more laying on the other side of the shop. but after a few pics from folks i somewhat got remotivated.
here in this pic went ahead put on the balancer and set the dss 1.6 rr, added the heater lines that run down the intake. its a factory piece that i cut off the nipple and welded closed, then chromed.also had the timing pointer chromed at the same time. next was the addition of the waterneck, pretty nice little piece. and of course sparkplugs.
during that time all plugs and gaskets were checked and oil added to prime her up and set rr's. from there i ran into a slight delima where the fms v/c's failed to seal the top part of the head, so i said screw it and went with a double stack rubber/cork gasket with steel insert between the two. not installed in pics, but actually helped in clearance of rr's. but still need to port some of the meat down out of the passenger side. but needless to say its mock up time.this ipic is with driverside v/c's on and some painted wire loom covers on and connected to sparkplugs. also went ahead and put on some heater bypass hoses on.
and this is the passenger side with breather installed( i know whew... but hey)
just a front view i have more, but this is just the first of an assload downloaded from camera. hope to have a day off soon to actually redo my cardomain site. anyhow check back later will have more posted in a day or so.
