and theres even more laying on the other side of the shop. but after a few pics from folks i somewhat got remotivated.

here in this pic went ahead put on the balancer and set the dss 1.6 rr, added the heater lines that run down the intake. its a factory piece that i cut off the nipple and welded closed, then chromed.also had the timing pointer chromed at the same time. next was the addition of the waterneck, pretty nice little piece. and of course sparkplugs.

during that time all plugs and gaskets were checked and oil added to prime her up and set rr's. from there i ran into a slight delima where the fms v/c's failed to seal the top part of the head, so i said screw it and went with a double stack rubber/cork gasket with steel insert between the two. not installed in pics, but actually helped in clearance of rr's. but still need to port some of the meat down out of the passenger side. but needless to say its mock up time.this ipic is with driverside v/c's on and some painted wire loom covers on and connected to sparkplugs. also went ahead and put on some heater bypass hoses on.

That's a helluva comment when he has AFR heads and no top half installed.

2200 kb with 331 cubes. should be good for runs to the grocery store.

Chrome

Golly...didn't mean nothin' by the comment...just tryin' to be funny. Probably shouldn't try "stand up", eh? I've been investingating a roots type blower that'll fit under the hood with no mods but the nice low, sleek lines of the Mark might not allow it. I've got a guy researching a Whipple and Kenne Bell but I'm not holding my breath. A cintrifigal Paxton or Vortex may be the only way out. I got exciting last year when I saw a Miata with a 302 and Kenne Bell tucked in just like the factory did it. It was beautiful and done right here in SE MI.

Scott, look around a bit and you'll find that Kenne Bell's have been done many times on the VII's will remaining stock, even with Speed Density.

Mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnn....i envy all you guys with these pretty shiny motors that are gonna run like raped apes. :D

I just bought the bolts needed to bolt my 351w to my engine stand last night....patience is a virtue. lol

Looking awesome man!

For F*ck's sake man! I recon that should move your Mark VII pretty well with that blower.

Don't leave it outside though, polished aluminum gets ugly in the elements, over time.
It's too pretty to start and run. Like eating dirt when you have gold teeth. ;)

Nice work.

ARe those AFR 185's?

well pulleys are installed and pretty much everything that i can see polished or chrome is. this is how it will pretty much look like in the engine bay minus the blue hoses. thanks for the comments in this thread and hope to have it at disney's by months end. i was going to try and be there this very weekend, but had issues with the new bracket(reason for cardboard template), and one of the bearing kinda warping when puttting in bearing. but anyhow here's the new heart and sould of mark007..............................
