I am going to have to add an aux cooling fan to my 2000 LS V-6. Living in the desert means the stock cooling fan just can't hack it during 100+ degree days here with the A/C on. I want to mount a pusher fan on the front of the condenser for additional cooling. Is there any big difference between Hayden or Flex-A-lite fans? Right now I am leaning toward a Hayden 3911 Super Duty 12 inch pusher rated at 1275 cfm and 12.8 amps. All cooling system plastic has been replaced.

For your application the Hayden unit should do just fine...and for about half the price of a flex-a-lite. I replaced the hyd cooling fan in my 00 V8 with one and it's been working flawlessly for over a month now
