My 02' STS was purchased new from the dealer. While I am still under warranty, I take the car in for among others, a head light problem. Warranty claim is denied because the headlight is not a GM part. In fact, neither one is a GM headlight. The car has never been wrecked in the front end. GM says it is between me and the dealer. Dealer says they can't help me. Has anyone ever had a similar experience? Does anyone know how an aftermarket part can be tracked back to its point of sale?
