Headlight idea

Sanded the primer lightly and painted today. I'm going to let it dry a few days at least and then see how this paint holds up to some wet sanding. For the little time I spent on the filler, sanding and prep it turned out well enough that I am confident I can get a real good finish product when I do the real set and take the proper steps and time. Well at least I'm confident on my ability to prep them well, the paint I'll decide on after I spend some time polishing. Again I still think the stock black bezel will be the way I go.

I think it will help its looks if it is kept silver like that actualy.

But its your car and if you didnt have your own thoughts on how it should look it would be boreing for you.

I did like the silver idea and thats why it got painted to begin with, to see if I liked it. But on the car the blackened look seems to look best to me. My 5:00 appt just canceled so I'm going to throw it in.

Take a shot when its in, I wanna see. I think it would help give the eyes a break from all the black and would help some contrast.

I mean its not like its chrome like those ugly Alteza style lights.

I like... Put some M3 wheels on, shave the lincoln logo, and put the bimmer emblem on the hood!

Wow, keep the silver, but get the 06 LSE grille, that headlight sets off your rims very nicely, one thing that looks out of place is the grille tho. It looks too dull for the flashy headlights + wheels. Thats just what I would do, very nice work though.

I'm going to roll with it for a few days to see how I like it. The black bezels match the grill insert well and thats the kinda the dark look I'm going for. I like the only chrome to be the wheels, below the windows and the tips. In the sun the pictures don't give that type of look justice. At dusk it looks tight.

I think it'd look cheap.

I thought of painting the bezels the anthracite color to match my stock LSE grill when it was on, but like my 04-05LSE blackout conversion grill the best.

I think it would look alright if it was a darker grey or silver like pewter or something I guess.

But like I said, its your and it still looks good.

If you had the bezels really chromed, then with the chrome waterfall it would be a good look, just a different look than I want.
