Headlight Poll

Judging from this picture, #2 looks like a CCFL setup as well... at the same time, they're not touting it as CCFL, so I don't know.

Both sets are made by Eagle Eye Lights (best I can tell from my research). Eagle Eyes, however, doesn't have these lights listed on their website.

Those do look like the cheaper fog light like projectors... but, most of these companies rarely ever use real projectors from what I have seen personally around the net.

They can be good with non HID's but I have seen some cheaper fake projectors work great with HIDs on HID planet but rarely ever.

Arent headlights usually for driving at night?:D

Projectors are known for clarity though.

What is it that you dont like about them?

the light in the ones I have driven hare nice and bright for the whole 20' they go then the just end there is no more light I would take my HIDs over any headlight

What do you mean:) ? Projectors are what enhances the clarity of HID's. Not only do you get great out put but its straight forward and has less scatter.

Example: No projector=

Projector on the left and non on the right=

Take note to the row of trees all the way down, also it looks as if the car on the left is a bit further back.
:)

like I said I hate the sharp cut off and the one with two cars is not comparing Normal HIDS to projectors

The sharp cut off reduces glare, a annoyance both you and other drivers may witness. That is not what you said by the way, you said you dont like the fact they dont reach as far down the road as normal HIDs in other words but they do go farther.

If you aren't convinced I guess you'll never be but a member to the LS forum named skizzot has some pics floating around of a retro fit into his LS that appear as if you can see for miles! There is a reason why they are using them more and more often and are becoming more and more expensive. Its not just looks but its cause they enhance HID in many ways.
