It's on my project list. The same company that is producing the clear side marker lenses can make clear or tinted tail light lenses. However, the trick is getting the lenses off of the OEM assembly. I got a set of core tail lights from a local dealer and I'm playing around with them in my spare time (yeah right!). As I look at these assemblies they are not going to be that easy to take apart.

tinted tails would be really cool, i dunno how the clear tails would look tho, im picturing them bein too ricer like the euro tails or suttin... like you got any spare time anyway Ken, keep me informed tho, i would jump all over some tinted tails

hey jump,, i just cleared and bezel painted my heads on sunday,, here is the thread and pics,, and lil info.

as far as what u seal with RTV,, once closed and close to cool, i ran a bead along the seam where they both met all the way around, and waited 2 hrs for it to dry.

i used permantex, ultra black hi heat rtv seal,, from autozone.
