I finally finished the headlights for my 98. I added some led's inside that are daytime running lights (just a few )

I like that. I'm going to order me another set of "side shiners" SMD LED's for mine again. I took them off to install the LSC housings but I have now switched back to my halogen housings with the dual HID's in them. I'm also going to go with the straight pattern this time and now angle it up like I did last time but those look good like they are.

looks real clean, not a big fan of the LED's though

Led"s

I think they look great, but I think they add to safety. Iditots notice you and maybe they won't run into you. I added some to my pickup with safety in mind and some iditot ran into me (while he was on the phone ) He woke up at the last second and almost missed me.A little scratch on the bumber. Only had 6K on the truck at the time. Aren't all mark's supposed to look like new. I do what I can to keep them that way. The PU is a 2004 with 13K. The95 has 118K and I've had it 13 years (wifes DD).

I like that a lot. LED's just look so cool on these cars. Well, any car:) I love LED's. If it were up to me, incandescent bulbs would be a thing of the past. I only have the front parking/turn signal/corner lights and rear parking lights left and my whole car will be incandescent free:D My house is already incandescent free. I've got all CFC or LED lights in my house right now. They last longer, use less power, and just look cool as heck!!! Incandescent bulbs are so 20th century...

This idea looks nice. I'd love to do this to my wife's 200. I don't know if it would look good on my other cars though.

I don't have any incandescent or 'cfc' lights, but I do have all CFL lights in my house! ;)

Terry, why did you go back to the non LSC housings? It looks nice Tony. The car looks brand new!

Rich, I just didn't like the looks of them really. The halogen housings and corner lenses were bought new after I got the car and with the HID housings, they just didn't look right being clear and the corner lenses not matching. So, I just went ahead and put the new halogens back in and went back with the dual 9005 6K & 10K HID setup I had and just got the 24" SMD LED side shiners in the mail this past week but haven't put them on yet. I have the LSC housings boxed up with DLF's rings and 5000K 9006 bulbs. Going to hang onto them for a rainy day.

Hey what color is your 95? Is that the berry red or whatever its called? Don't see that one very often.

95

Yes it's Berry Red, saddle tan gut. I bought it when I lived in CA. It was the best looking out of 10 I had to pick from. In about a week I'm going to give it lots of love. I have a set of chrome 10 spokes that will class it up a bit. The roof, trunk, and bumper are getting painted, clear coat peeling.A few gaskets here and there, and some interior work will put it back in shape.

Eek. I think these led strips on old cars or even new ones look terribly tacky if they aren't oem. Very few can pull it off. Almost as bad as altezza taillights. .02
