Hey all,

I'm not new here, but I couldn't get my old profile to work. I guess it's been a while. Anyways, my '99 town car has developed a leak at the heater core hose connection where it goes into the manifold. I got the hose off, but the hose and brass fitting look clean, so I'm not convinced that the problem is a bad seal.

Is it possible that it could be leaking from the seal between the brass fitting and the manifold? If so, is that connection threaded or pressed?

The leak is getting progressively worse, so I'd like to get it fixed up. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

No. The leak is hitting the ground under that area. I can see it pool up around that brass fitting, that's why I thought it was corrosion at the hose/fittings area.

my heater core was leaking on the passenger side floor inside the car, so I had to bypass the heater core.....fun job.
