Heater core replacement

Anyone pull a heater core on their Mark VIII? Would appriciate any tips to make things go easier.

I asked the same question 2-3 months ago. just checked the thread and still no replies not one. but I can tell you this, I'ts a b!tch!!! like most fords you have to remove the dash and maybe the front seats too. :Bang

I was told that the substructure bolts are in the same place and that the procedure is almost identical.

Excellent find!! Kind of remindes me of the heater core replacement on my 1987 T-Bird Turbo coupe took 2 days to do!! :Bang :Bang

been there done that....got the t shirt. Forgot to have the new core pressure tested first. It leaked. Had to do it again. Needless to say, every time I ever have to replace a heater core, I have the new one pressure checked first. Best $15 you will ever spend if it leaks.

Take the front seats and console out of the car!!! Your back will thank you.
