Help Hankyman find a Mark!

Chris... you probably have looked at more Mark VIII adds than :q:q:q:q online... and that is :q:q:q:qed up!

Not even worth looking at so called "Rust free" in this state Mines clean just not rust free like my first one. That came from Port Orange, FL.

You can find them, but you have to be one lucky bastage.
Plus look a lot of "rust free" rusty ones. :p

Not trying to throw cold water on this purchase, but "broke" and "Mark Viii Owner" are not usually words used together in situations where the driver ends up being a happy guy, if you get my drift. :p

is it just me or does brandon have me blocked? thats fine apparently i did something to you and you wont say wtf it is. its quite obvious you are ignoring me whatever dude. thanks for the help.

This is not a so called rust free car. It really is a rust free car. I am originally from New Jersey and know the difference between a rust bucket, a clean but rusty car, and a rust free one. It is a two owner car from Miami that was kept in a carport. The dent in the door is from a landscaping truck backing into it. Alex (Ultimate SVT) can verify the condition of the car. He painted the chrome and checked the car out.

I hear ya... he was referring to cars you find here in MN. Even Brandon's old CE which was "clean" by MN standards still needed a little bit of rust work. And that's why we're looking around other states. It's just too hard to find a nice one up here anymore, I'm sure being from Florida its whole life it's mint. And that's what I'm after. I keep cars for a while and I want something that's worth my time to take care of. You car intrigues me... Brandon called on the 96 LSC and I'm waiting to hear the result of that, but if that falls through yours is awful tempting. Is the replacement door the same color, or is is going to need to be painted? Thanks!

You're not lucky! It's black. Also forgot to mention it has a brand new rack on it. It really is a nice car. I would love to keep it but I have a '98 LSC and Jamie's wifes old '93. I can't justify 3 Marks when I have a company car for work and my wife works at home!

Darren I'd consider that TR Mark... the 96 has a lot of issues for the same price, and lots of rare 96 only parts... can you post some pics great8?

other than the door i have seen pics from rich of the car and it is a clean car you get a door on it and you'll have a really clean long timer car for cheap.

I have friends in the Phoenix area that could probably check out that one with overheating issues... unfortunately there's no reason not to assume the worst on that car's cooling problems.

As far as that Knoxville car... the air suspension work is reassuring but I'm wary of that many miles on anything besides a 98 unless I also know it has a replacement transmission, ya know? Then again... I bet it's fast. The "backwards wheel mod" was good for at least 10HP in the RX-7 world so I'm sure it's a good 15 or more in these cars :D.

i wouldnt worry about mile on these cars. my white 97 lsc had 197k, my current 97 has arounf 180k, and my current 98 has 211k and not a thing wrong with any of them.
