help i need mods

ok so iam new here i have a 1990 mark VII lcs i have done the suspension conv.
and want to so much mor can some one help me with some more mods

Now do you want strictly Performance mods or do you want accessory mods as well??

other things you may want to check into is modifying your interior lights with aftermarket bulbs such as Eurolites thats what I did to my Conti

Free mods, that should be done anyway would be:

New plugs, wires, cap and rotor
New fuel filter
Advance timing
Clean IAC/EGR passages/EVR filter
Adjust TPS to 0.99 volts
Remove the resonator inside the passenger side front fender

Then there are the not-so-free mods..

Exhaust
Gears
Stall converter
Shift kit
Underdrive pullies
Heads
Intakes
5 speed swap
...and the list goes on
 
yeah i did take the resonator out and it got plugs wires cap and rotor so and its got 3in Exhaust cat back but i want the cobra intake. an going to git a motor to rebuiled it so but i dont know when so for now am looking foe drivetrain :q:q:q:q
 
Make sure your DOA tranny is up to the task...that should be after the free mods.
5-speeds need not apply ~ that is based largly on the idiot at the end of the stick :steering
 
Search around, there is a ton of information about just this. Also, stay away from SVPU; they no longer really support the Mark VII, and their customer service is by far the worst you will ever encounter.
 
3" is overkill if your engine is stock or even mildly modded. You'll lose torque without the flow velocity of a smaller diameter pipe.

Your best bet is to get the car running tip top, then doing modifications for handling. Catch up on all back logged maintenance now like fluid changes etc. and you have less headaches later. Have you replaced the throttle valve bushing? That $5 part might save your transmission.

You get more bang for your buck in my opinion. You should get the 1 5/16" Turbo Coupe/Cougar XR7 front anti-roll bar and Addco 415 7/8" rear bar. You'll get pretty flat cornering and pretty neutral handling with that combo. Then dampers and brakes are always nice too.
