HELP! Key wont come out of ignition!

I drove the came home fine, but then when I turned the car off I couldn't take the key out. It starts, turns off, and goes into the on position fine, but It just wont come out. I've tried turning the wheel, checking it's in park, and it still wont budge. Any ideas?

Are you sure the ignition going to completely off position? Have been having a little trouble with mine the same way the past week or so. Sometimes the release button on the shifter is hanging and not popping out. If its stuck in the ignition doesn't go all the way to the off position so naturally the key won't come out. A good hit straight down on the shifter with my palm works. Its a place to start looking. Will be doing surgery on mine this weekend.

I'll try a good snack, but I've heard it may be a small pin in the ignition.

Mine does this sometimes, it's always the shifter not going completely into Park. Try a little tap of the shifter into Park, fingers crossed.
