i just bought my 2001 lincoln ls v6 manual and when i gun it sometimes it starts to shutter. it happened a few times when i first bought it and now it did it again last week....it doesnt always do it only sometimes....any ideas?

Coil(s) need to be replaced, very common problem (had three of my coils replaced in the last six months).

yep maybe even the pcv tube below the lower intake. you will find many threads discussing the coil problem and one or two discussing the pcv issue with the v6.
