I have a 1994 Continental now, and I bought a new transmiter off e-bay, Does anyone know how to program this remote to work on the car?

try this
1. Enter the factory keyless entry code.
2. press 1/2 button
3. press one button on each of the transmitters.each time the trans. is programmed successfully, the car will lock and unlock.if they don't your trans. was not programmed.
If you mess up your previous trans. will not work either.

I not sure on the Conti but on a Mark VIII
Behind the glove box there is a plug on the left hand side. You short the system. You hear the locks cycle then push the lock button on the transmitter. Cycle it twice to get the second transmitter.

The previous post was correct.
Turn ignition to RUN or ACC.
Momentarily jump pins in programming connector located behind glove box on the right side.
All doors will lock then unlock to confirm programming code.
Press any button on 1st remote transmitter.
Door locks will cycle to confirm programming.
Press any button on 2nd transmitter(up to 4).
Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to confirm to indicate end of programming.

Never been behind the glove box before, wow! but I found it thank you, and it works great!!

I do not know if it is like this on all the other year Continental's, but the 1988-1994 glove box is one of the easiest to get out, just push two tabs in.
