I have an Airbag code 15 in my 2002 LS. (1 flash pause then 5 flashes) Does any have a list of the airbag error codes.

Sorry for the late response Ken -

15 - Driver's airbag circuit shorted to Battery or ignition.

Sounds like the typical 'clock spring' issue.

It hasn't come back but I would still like to know. Does anyone have information on an Airbag diag code 15 in my 2002 LS. (1 flash pause then 5 flashes)

Ken - not sure what you are looking for?
15 - Driver's airbag circuit shorted to Battery or ignition.

You can't use the dealer's diagnostic steps since they use a special piece of gear to plug into the various circuitry points and test resistance, voltage, ...etc

The typical driver airbag circuit issues are:
1) the wiring under the driver's seat wears (do to the seat moving back and forth all the time). This wears the wiring at at the connector.
2) the clockspring (the wiring pass-through from the steering wheel to the sterring column) evenutally wears through the ribbon cable in the clockspring

Both of these cause either a short or an open circuit.

Air Bag light

Mine used to flash then stay on, now it just stays on. Can I get it to go out? I bought the LS 2 years ago from a non-lincoln car dealer.

Oh and does anyone know if they sell K&N cabin air filters for the LS?

Quik....

That's exactly what I was looking for. We must have posted at the same time. Thanks.
