help with loud bang over bumps right rear

like the title says..... when riding over bumps right rear goes bang! lol
what is it? sway bar bushing? thanks

I would bet your sway bar has snapped in two. That is if the sound in metal on metal slapping.

o boy that dont sound good. gave the car to the old lady and she has been driving it since before winter. i got in it this morning and heard metal on metal loud bang. asked her about it so she says " i dunno its been like that awhile" I asked her well dear,"how long is a while" and of course she comes back saying i dont know it drives so i didnt think it was a big deal. going out to the garage now to remove wheel and take a look. if i cant see anything i might just post some pics to see if ya'll can thanks

Could be shock mount. Could ne upper control arm bushing. Could be broken sway bar. Could be that hooker in the trunk isnt dead. Could be a bad wheel bearing.

The shock upper mount rubber does deteriorate. Common problem.

Ever? How about ALWAYS. Its more common then going to put gas in the car.
