Hey fellas.
I just picked up an 06 silver V8. This will be the first car I plan to show any interest in. I'm taking the challenge.
I've had over a dozen cars that were just ment to get me from point A to point B . But I have plans for this one! The motor is in great shape with 80K . Therefor i'm going to start with the exterior. Thanks to the informative threads I've read on here. I now know the LS doesn't have an LSE option for the 06 ! Interesting. Glad I can use 03 - 05 parts. But i wanted to introduce myself and I look forward to chiming in occasionally.

It doesn't have an LSE option but all the parts on it are what would have came on previous model LSE trim vehicles.

But it's understood around here that gen II LSE is the same as 06.

So. Theoretically. I could just slap an E behind my ls and have an LSE. I am currently looking at finding a red set of tail lights. I'm not into the whole clear and red. From what I understand. The 03-05 LSE have red lights. Mine aren't.

The only difference I know of between the 04-05 LSE and the 06 is the LSE had all red tail lights, spoiler, and different wheels.

I don't like spoilers. Unless their functional. Do others with 06s have the navigation and THX?

My 06 has navigation with THX. It was an option.

And Rod is correct, his list is the difference between gen2 LSE and an 06.

Welcome to LVC. You can always use red lamin-x to cover the clear until you find the LSE tails.

All spoilers are functional is some way... no matter how little it might be.... Welcome, post pics, and search around.... This is your one stop LS shop.

Welcome to lvc. So technically you do have a lse, don't need to put the E on it since the front facia looks different than non ls 03-05

Only reason i dont put the lse is because i like having a V8 logo on the rear.
