HI! New guy: Are all 2003 LS8's "sports"?

Well it looks like a done deal, I have to drive from TN to Cleveland, Ohio to get the car Saturday. It's a long way to have to go for a car.

I had a really hard time finding an red or black (with black int) LS8 with low miles. We have agreed on a $11,283 price. Pretty good I guess considering the low mileage.

I hope the car lives up to it's online pictures.

You guys have been a big help, and I'll be glad to be back into a Ford product.. honestly.

Stupid question, but did the person have a carfax? Or did you carfax the vin?

Or did you carfax the vin?

I carfaxed it.

I had a Mustang Cobra that I wadded up years ago, and a Z06 that I wadded up a few years ago. When I sold both of those cars I ran a carfax to see if the accidents were on there. Both carfaxes came back clean as a whistle.

Carfax is worthless.

That being said, I still just paid $39.99 to check out this car.. just to be on the safe side I guess.

But I still say carfax is worthless.

You're not the only one. Seem pretty high for that year and such few options.

I attributed it to the super low mileage. The car has still-stickered Michelins all around, and looks super clean inside and out.

I am okay with paying a touch extra for the low miles.

Crap now you guys have me second-guessing. What would be a more realistic price?

Kelly blue book stated $10,300 retail if in excellent condition.

$8500 would seem fair to me, as long as it is perfect and has already had the coils and cooling system parts replaced.

I would be comfortable in the 9's. Kbb is usually pretty high.

Sorry Joe, didn't see you. Just go with whatever ^ this guy says.

This is my opinion..... but if I'm going to spend 11 grand, I'd be looking at an '06 if I had my mind made up on an LS
