IK IK you guys are probably like not this again, but I cant find anything that has been updated on this topic since 2010. So I REALLY need a recommendation for a HID or XENON FULL conversion kit thats easy to install for driver & passenger side with ALL the lights included.free shipping a + include prices too please!

i have used 3 brands , DDM tuning , Xentec , and Klight , the best was Klight , worse was Xentec , DDM tuning is alright for the price
Klight - 170 dollars
DDM- 50-100
Xentec- 30-40

does that include everything ill need? Im basicly going to give it to a car savvy friend to help me out,I would feel horrible if we got something that isnt semi-user friendly.

yea they are all plug and play

I have a 97, kinda afraid of burning my lenses if I pick the wrong one. Could you please tell me specific DDM tuning kit (preferably xenon) that has all lights involved? a link maybe? Ill thank everything you say for 20 posts! lol I have about $200

Not for a gen 2 Mark viii.

I'll see if I can find some info for you Dan.

But I can tell you right now that you'll have to buy or make your own adapter plate for the bulb. Look for a 35w 9006 kit in whatever color you want. I'd suggest nothing above 6k if you still want decent lighting, 4300ish was the oem color and many are happy with 5k. Fwiw, I'm switching from 6k to 5k. ;)

X2 on Xentec, complete garbage.

no kit comes with that lol , i dont own a Mark so I cant help there

uhhh stock size? lol...... I think the houseing is messed up too. Which Is why I was hoping a kit came with that. being new sucks

How is the housing messed up? Is the chrome peeling from inside or is it just cloudy? Moisture?

Looks like the hid is gone allowing moisture to enter the housing.

If the wiring for the hids is still salvageable you'll still be able make a aftermarket kit work. Whatever you decide to do, allow the housing to completely dry out before installing the new lights.

Is there a hid on the passenger side and does it work? Does it too have moisture issues?

im going to try a kit recommended by a great source here on the forums. Thank you to everyone for your help.

iirc, you'll need adapter rings that Jay makes, as mentioned above, @$50...pretty sure he'll also sell you a package with everything you need to convert. Otherwise get the lights of your choice (9005s?) and the adapters from Jay. Kensuns are good ballasts.

Daniel, I make/sell the adapters you need to be able to install aftermarket HID bulbs in your car. I sell them $50 shipped.

If you want to buy a plug and play solution for your car, I also sell a kit that includes both bulbs and both ballasts. It also includes the Mark VIII specific harness connections soldered onto it. It'll be the most complete kit out there, for the best price. Other places sell a similar kit for $299!! I sell them for $165 shipped. I currently have a 55w 5000k set, sitting here ready to be modified...

Yep, might be wise to purchase another headlight as well. If there's been water inside of it for very long, it's pretty well likely that the chrome on the bottom has disappeared...

thank you for the offer. Do I send you a money order? check? debit card? wash your dishs for 8 weeks? how would you prefer to get your $$$. PS If I told my wife I was sending a stranger $$$ that I just met online she would kick my ass. My only defense is "But babe, he has over 3000 posts!" lol
