Finally finished up the car today. The engine fired right up, obviously I can not tell you how fast it is, gotta break in the engine first. Sorry for the short video, more to come later.
Mods:
Engine-manley h beams, .020 probes, stage 1 cams, Manley SS valves, comp springs. Cobra high volume pump
Tranny- t-45, fidanza flywheel, centerforce clutch
Exhaust-kooks 3/4 headers

other crap- solid engine mounts, flaming river rag joint, imrc delete, walbro 255 pump.

Just remember, 3 17 year old kids did this. Hopefully this is an inspiration to some of you. More mods and timeslips to come.

I'll try to answer all questions.
It's a 4.6 that is .020 over, still uses stock crank. These cast units are good for about 600-700hp so there was no reason to change. Originally considered a stroker but many people have negative opinions on stroking these modulars. So it is only a teskid engine, b heads, cast 6 bolt, forged rods and pistons, mildly p&p heads, stage 1 cams (these things are nice) along with IMRC's deleted. Intake is stock, maf is stock, all that is stock. Those kooks headers do sound nice though. Its going to be fun passing Kalifornia emmmissions.

It was pretty funny driving around open headers with no hood. People look at you like WTF? I love it though, when you are sitting at a stoplight the car rocks with the lope.

Exhaust should be on tommorrow, then maybye more video. Thanks for the kind compliments, I'm still amazed we had no trouble. Absolutely everything worked.

I LOVE THE SOUND!!!

hi daniel. well i hope my exhaust sounds as good with mufflers, in case your wondering the mark is mine and dan posted the vid for me cause im electronicaly challenged. haha. but the car is running good i have almost no vacum at idle cause of the cam so my brakes suck. my clutch pedal is a lot better thanks to the centerforce clutch. but the engine is nice and strong. i cant get on it cause i have to break it in. we will keep you updated and some more vids verry soon. and hopefuly before not to long. a track vid with some slicks and mabey some laughing gas.

Yeah greg, you need to buy a vacum canister. I didn't think those stage 1's would lope soo much. probably dropped your vacum 3-4"
