How 2 On Tranny Fluid

i have a 05 LS8 and i want to change my transmission fluid. Does anyone have a tech guide or instructions on how to change it

Bring it to the dealer or a trans place that does trans. flushes, you need a scan tool to check fluid levels correctly when trans is at a certain temp, there is no dipstick.

You need a special tool for it is done under pressure, this is one of though things where you bit the bullet and pay a professional, you will be better off in the long run. Try doing a search, well covered.

I have the dealership workshop manual published by ford and it says nothing about using that vacuum tool, it uses a regular oil suction gun, the only thing that it mentions that could be troublesum is that it has to be on level ground +/-2 to 3 degrees) to ensure that it is properly filled.

You just need a fluid pump, and 4 jack stands so the car is level.
