I need a little help guys ive tried searching and couldn't really find anything that'd help me. Im waiting on my whole system to come by the mail. I got a great deal on some 12" kicker compVR's that came with the bandpass box, 1800 watt amp, tweeters, amp kit. And i just bought me a pioneer DEH-7800MP i can install this easily. I allready have an existing pioneer disc changer so that's why i had to settle with pioneer. They make great products anyways, but yeah im drifting of subject here. Im just needing to know how do i go about taking the factory stereo out. I can't figure out where to start at...can someone please help me out.

remove the vents on top try using something to pull them out without scratching the dash something like a seal removal tool, then by the ashtray take the woodgrain trim off with the same removal tool as the vents their just clips, then remove 2 7mm bolts n take off the ashtry n remove 4 8mm bolts two on top by the vents and two on the bottom by the ashtry... hope this helps

You have to be very careful when removing the vent. I pulled on it to hard and the vent clips broke. I had to get the entire piece replace. If you look closely inside the vents you can see 2 clips holding the vent piece in place. With a small flat screw driver you have to play with the clips until it releases the vent. Otherwise you will have a vent piece that shakes and moves and that is very annoying.

try removing them with your fingers first from the top put your nails in and pry out you usually wont break anything when using just your hands, just another option,
