Now he's mandating the vaccine... forcing people (and employers) to comply.

Not gonna work anyway. Many "break-through" cases of the Delta variant... so the vax isn't as effective as hoped. People transmitting Delta... and getting Delta even though rhey are vaxed.

There are now 7 variants of Covid circulating around the world... with the Mu variant being most recent.

This isn't going to go away. China (and Fauci) need to be sued for compensation... and recompense.

You should probably read the article and not just the title. While the author is critical at times of the President, as they should be, it's hardly the scathing rebuke you think it is.

Maybe you're just used to the last four years of Fox News kowtowing to Trump and never criticizing?

I did read it the article.... and was shocked that a Socialist proponent of Biden would speak out in such a negative way of Biden. That has to be a first for CNN... considering their strong "leftist" viewpoint.

The "take away" from the article... is that Biden won 2020 due to independent voters... but now those voters are unhappy with the way Biden is (mis) managing the country.

Maybe the title of this thread should be changed to "How Do Independents Feel About Biden Now?"

I don't think they will make the same mistake twice... and give a glimmer of hope to some that realize how wrong the direction of this country is going.

I'm sure you know by now that Pelosi is planning on stepping down in 2022. I gaurantee that some part of that us for nefarious reasons.

If mid terms go wrong for Dems, (like I think they will), Biden will be found unfit under the 25th amendment... and Pelosi will worm her way in.

If you look at California's leadership... it will be a prime example of what is to come for this country.

I don't know if you live in the mountains or not... but if so... Cali can claim your water well rights through eminent domain.

Got a little extra yard and wanna put an addition on your house? Not so fast. Cali will deny you your addition... but allow you to put as many "alternate dwelling units" on your property, as are allowed.

Wanna buy a gun? That will be $80 or more for the class and background check. Oh... you want ammo too? (if you can find it). That's another $20 mini background check. There's more too. Most online ammo sales places won't ship to Cali... for fear of accidentally shipping to a "red zone" (high crime/violent area).

You already live in Pelosi territory... thanks to her son.

New Danmark (Cali) is modeled after that country (Danmark)... and the rest of the E.U. I spent 2+ years working with a lady from Danmark...and learned all about Socialism.

Socialism creates a 2 class system that benefits the wealthy.

I have a neighbor who's daughter is a microbiologist in the E.U. She and her husband have an mold infested "efficiency" apartment about the size of a 2 car garage. Cost??? $1800 a month.

She is supposed to be going to Australia for some medical research. Problem is... Australia is on covid lockdown. No one in or out.

On top of all this... the girl was warning about blood clots. This was back in January

Going back to the lady from Danmark. One thing she told me: They have something comparable to our Social Security. However... if you have more than 1 extra (spare) bedroom in your house... you will be forced to downsize your home in ordet to get it.

I'll start by repeating what my cousin said to me on 9/11.

Saddam was just a puppet. Yeah... he managed to keep the region stable (for the most part). But for whatever nefarious reasons, our Gov't let the WMD's go across the border into Afghanistan.

I have it on good authority that we had forces on the border... and when they had the opportunity to take them out... our troops were told to stand down. No WMD's were found... because they had already been moved.

This isn't "the longest war". It is "the never ending war" ... and the current administration has forgotten history. "Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it". (forget who said that)

Biden hit the "reset" button... so 20 years down the tubes and we have to start over.

In defense of any President that has had to deal with the Middle East... there is no easy fix.

Most of these feuds have been going on for thousands of years... all over religous beliefs, traditions, and territorial rights.

ISIS needs to go bye bye... but I don't know if the Taliban would be any better. There would be several other regimes to take their place if given a chance.
 
Why We...The United States of America must be the Police of the world is not hard to understand ...no matter how many Government cover-ups and Scandels have gone down within our Nation ...We're still the Greatest Nation in the World ...hands down I wouldn't want to live anywhere else...we have Guts and a Work Ethic and Pride in who We are beyond any other Nation in this World ...yes the Middle East has been at war before the Bible but one thing is for sure no matter how much we Sacrifice for our Freedom we will continue to Sacrifice down to our last dying breath ...but your point is sadly taken as fact ...we now will have to Sacrifice so much more due to someone setting the reset button

This state, which is controlled by the Bay Area liberal lunatics, is becoming less and less desirable for middle-class folks. The exodus has started and will continue to grow as our Liquor Salesman Marin County hair gel governor continues to find new idiotic ideas to implement. He is already giving state benefits to illegals while taxing the working class to death. I hope to join the exodus next year and move to a purple or red state. Any suggestions as to a good locale? I will not be bringing along any "California Values".

Texas for sure. They're getting overrun by Cali idiots that are just gonna turn it into California V2 if people dont do something about it.
 
I am considering Texas for sure. If you stay away from that rat's nest Austin, Houston or El Paso the state is attractive. Small to midsize cities there are what I am considering. Going to cash in my home equity and split from this state within a year, tired of hearing the Border Patrol helos flying over the house all night long chasing illegals- don't get me wrong, I fully support the Border Patrol. hell most of my neighborhood is home to USBP.

Most of the ppl I met from Cali have told me they could care less if that whole State falls into the ocean ...kinda sad ...only place I haven't been is out West ...don't know if I ever want to now ...Colorado is the new California I heard
 
Oh I think there are a lot of sane Cali residents that are moving much farther East.

Even with everything going on in this messed up country... the housing market is booming here.

Alot of them may be in for a shock when the first hard winter hits... and that might be sooner than they think.

Especially with the heavy rain pattern we have had this year.
 
We have already had one of our kids move to Tennessee, he was able to buy a house there which is becoming impossible in Cali. Waiting to hear how the winter there evolves. I have, during my Navy career, wintered in places like Bangor, Maine and Utica, New York, so I have experienced what mother nature can dish out. Grew up in south Florida, don't want to deal with the humidity and hurricanes anymore. Going to try to stay in the southwest if I can find an area that is not infected with the far left mentality.
