Biden admin cements new rule to limit credit card late fees

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) finalized a rule Tuesday to limit late payment fees issued by credit card companies, a move the agency says will reduce the typical fee by 75 percent and save U.S. consumers an average of $220 per year.

The consumer watchdog agency estimated the rule would save Americans more than $10 billion in late fees each year and reduce the typical fee from $32 to $8. -snip

Roslyn Roberson says she’s just one of the many who didn’t get a warning.“just, you had a job on Saturday but you don’t have a job on Sunday.”

Single mother, Lavinia Thorton, tells us she is heartbroken after dedicating a total of six years to Stellantis.

“I looked forward to a future for my kids,” said Thorton. “I have to keep going, um hopefully start something, my own business or, only thing I can really do is pray and keep going because I’m lost.”

That has been going on for decades. Hmm... let's see... How long has offshore drilling been going on.

Outsourcing is why the economy tanked a number of years ago.

Obama devalued the dollar, and allowed China to flood the economy with cheap Chinese goods.
