Guy at work asked me about my 02 and found this blog while Googling for more info:

This is actually a 2002 limited edition LSE, basically an LS with some sporty styling tweaks. Apparently only 63 LS manuals were the LSE package.

That's pretty fun if true! Actually seems high if there were only 372 total that model year.

Just bought a 2000 LS Sport with 217k miles on it in Philly PA.
Still original clutch and serpentine belt according to previous owner (who bought it in 2004 with 45k miles)
He put it up this morning and I bought it 5 hours later for $750.
Picture is with my previous car ('94 Escort LX Sport with 5 speed)

Nice looking car, good price. Mine has 190K on original clutch, Black tan interior, purchase it in 2003 with 38K. Good luck.
