How many miles on your LS

140,000, original engine, trans and clutch. Rust will do it in. Lost a power steering line to rust this summer and can see it starting under the rocker panels. Driving through Vermont every other weekend in the winter to ski will do that. My XR4Ti rotted away in 16 years (after 280,000 with original turbo and engine)

185K miles. original engine and trans. had to replace the rear diff though. bought a used one that i think is going bad also. have had to replace every other suspension piece on it, some more than once. coils and 3 sets of tires and a new set of wheels. replaced the coils and VCG once. Put 105k miles on it in 3.5 years.

222,4xx on mine original drive train. I am the second owner on this car. I have what appears to be literately every maintenance document. It has always had synthetic oil put into it and other regular work done. Car is solid!

01 v8 with 139,xxx miles. Only 'major' repairs were a coil, alternator, cat. converter, and front ball joints. Needs the other cat. converter now. No mind though, I don't ever plan on selling it.

My friend has an '02 v8 with 145ish,xxx miles and the only thing he had to replace was 2 coils,..

& I thought I had alot of miles. I'm at 158,000 on a 00 V8 running very strong
