HVAC controls not lighting

Is there anyway I can fix this? Can't tell what my temp is set on or anything!!

More info please:

1. Do the buttons light up when the headlights are on?

2. Does the display light up when the headlights are on?

3. Does the display light up when the headlights are off?


Please note that with the headlights (or even just the parking lights) on it is possible to turn the dash dimmer to where the climate control, odometer, and message center displays will be off.

What do you mean by "they"?

Please specifically answer my questions above, one by one.

For example, I still can't tell if you mean the display doesn't light up, the buttons don't light up, or both. Also, have you tried with the headlights on and off, and with the dimmer turned all the way up?

Yes dimmer is all the way up

It's the thing with the vacuum florescent climate control display and the climate control switches.

yes, the fact that the face of your climate controls is just hanging there definitely could be part/all of the reason that the displays dont work.

"fitting" is easy, but fitting wont be your problem, "working" is the tricky part.

I didn't see that. Yes, a tear in the cable could be your whole problem.
