Hydraulic Fan Pump Stuck

Awesome, at least I know now where the wires will go on the relay. I will give it a try on the heated wipers relay I pulled out just to see if it works. I'll keep the thread updated.

I still have to wrestle out the other sway bushing fml I did the one side without disconnecting anything and it went fine, but the drivers side feels like it has some tension and will fling upwards if I pull the bracket off without disconnecting the link lol.

thanks for the info though, take it easy with the vodka redbulls, i get the spins so bad from that s**t hahah

Already confused. So I went right under the steering column assuming that's where I was suppose to look, and not sure which connector, if any, are the right one.

And this is the heated wiper relay, does this look like it will work?

Yup I got the right belt. Telco, that seems more complicated than I would like it to be. I wanted my 3 way switch idea, but if that's how to get it done I'll just wire it to be on all the time on low with key on.

The reason it's complicated is because the Taurus fan can only have 12V going to either the low speed or the high speed setting, not both at the same time. This circuit will cut out the low speed when the system calls for high speed operation. If you apply power to both at the same time it'll burn out the motor. But, that's the setup that is used regularly at that site, and it works. If you do want it to be less complicated you just have to use one relay, and use that relay to provide power to either the low speed or high speed setting of the fan, with the understanding that if you're on low speed and get stuck in stop and go traffic on a hot August afternoon you may overheat. The diagram allows the fan to go to high speed when necessary. And, really it's not all that complicated.

There is another option though, but it'll cost a bit. I've used Delta Control fan control units in the past with great success. They now offer a Taurus fan controller for 80 bucks for the standard and 99 dollars for a heavy duty multifan controller. With them, it's a lot less complicated. You can even add a light that will tell you when the fan is on, and if it's on high or low speed.

I wired it to the fuse box bolt, and the rest to a relay (stole from the heated wiper seats), and the 12v I tapped into the passenger foot panel. All is working, still need to go sit in traffic. On low, it is still moving a ton of air and is pretty loud. So hopefully it'll be fine. I do not use my A/C, I like melting. So I am banking on it handling the heat and panning out long term. It's nice because the fan is so cheap and easy to mount that if it ever burns up or something it wont be a problem. (assuming I'm not in traffic)

Just bled my cooling system, that's the hottest I've ever felt my heat, at 2k RPM is scorches the hand. I'm going to try bleeding it again later just to confirm. I have to take care of the suspension crap now before I can go drive it. Right side tie rod end is loose (nut keeps loosening...weird) and sway bar bushing on driver side needs to be changed.
