They remind me too much of the continental..i feel like i would have to distract myself from thinking that by putting some wider than stock tires on and have it lowered..then it might look good..i guess we shall see.
Well, I just talked to the guy and he had someone on the way with cash in hand. I have a truck out back (waiting on title and no insurance on it yet) and was going to get them tomorrow afternoon but apparently he needed the money tonight and couldn't wait. They were $450 but he listed them again today for $300 and like "sbcaprice" said up above, "it's a no brainer", simply because the tires were like new. I wasn't going to chance driving the truck over there at night with no insurance and getting a $250 ticket, so.... they just sold to another person but maybe they only wanted the tires and will list the wheels. If I had known he was that hard up for money, I would have went earlier today and got them. Anyway, now we won't see lol.
Maybe it was for the best but I'll keep a lookout for the wheels to be listed again by the buyer. The cops around here at night are pretty bad and not so much during the day and I'm not chancing a ticket for driving without insurance just to get wheels and tires for a good price. Not worth it to me.
He's parting everything he can from a 97 Conti.
