i got beat by a neon :(

the thing they forgot with those doors is how in the hell to get in and out. take a second look. definitely a 2 door design....

I sure they thought of that, they just do not have them swung out to make the picture better.

It is still a neon..........always will be. It's just sad. Really sad.

I would always be afraid that I would hit my head on the damn door when getting out in a hurry. It looks like right where my head would be while getting out would also be in the same area where the door rests while fully open. Let alone a stiff breeze coming through and pushing the door down while I get out. Lambo doors, while cool(on a lambo), still look like a pain in the arse.

Hey bro whats the mods on your Cobra? Let me guess, chip, pulley, intake, exhaust, short throw? Are you running the Steigemeier ported blower too?

:dancefool :dancefool

The car is a ball to drive. It really is. That much torque on the street is amazing. Seriously, on the stock f1's, you can nail the car in second gear and light the tires (or should I say...wheel hop them! Damn IRS anyway!) It will even chatter the tires a bit doing the same thing in 3rd on a cool morning. But I have no illusions...there are plenty of cars out there who will embarass me. If you don't run 9's on the street here, you aren't a real player. There's even a 69 Camaro in town that runs 8's...and is totally streetable. (That's 1/4 mile folks...not 1/8th) It would take a pretty serious SRT4 to outrun me...but I'm sure they're out there. And forget about a good Supra...there's not much that will run with them. I can handle most of the LSx GM stuff unless they are heavily modded...then I can be in trouble. A stock standard 05 Vette isn't a problem. A modded one is more than I want. An 05 Z06 is a good race in the 1/4, but I hadn't better spin because he's too good on top. And the new 06 Z06? Better pony up for a GT...and not the Shelby GT...the expensive one. That's what it's going to take to stay with that car. It's just flat nasty. GM got that one right.
