I got me some Jag parts!!!

I would be more than willing to do a trade of stock wheels plus some cash. I would be interested in some 17" Chrome 5 spokes, 06 17" 5 spokes, the rare 04 LSE 17" chrome 7 spokes, or a set of the graphite 17" 5 spokes.

So basically everyone on this thread has a fighting chance short of the 8-spoke guy? LOL.

Ohh well, I guess i'll bow out. I probably shouldn't buy them. They'd just end up being a table for a while in the corner of the garage :)

Kumba. How's the tires on your o06 wheels? What's the best we can do on them?

Dis. What kind of shape are those lse wheels and tires? What do u think we can work out?

Rough. They have 41K original miles on them. They are a 2005 mfg date and are starting to show signs of age like small cracks. You could put them on the car and run them, but they would need replacing sooner then later. I wouldn't expect them to last more then 6-12 months, depending upon driving habits and road conditions. You should really only be buying them for the rims. I'll take some pictures of the tread if you want.

As far as price, I don't know. Shoot me a PM with what you want to do and we can go from there. To be honest those Vulcan wheels would just sit in the corner of my garage with a piece of plywood on top acting as an expensive bar hitop table.

As long as I make money on the deal (I'm not a charity last I checked), I'd be willing to trade you rims plus some cash, and then turn around and sell the rims to someone else on here. But that can get complicated and it all depends on what kind of a trade+cash you are looking for.

Just shoot me with a PM on where you want to start at, and we'll see how it goes.

The LSE wheels are all in great shape and all look identical to the one pictured. I have about 10 detailed pictures I can send you if your further interested. Shoot me a PM and let me know what you'd expect out of the deal. I'll let you know what I expect and we can go from there. These are my only set of LS rims with tires on them so I'd be on blocks until I received yours. (if traded). The wheels really are in immaculate condition and have absolutely no shakes, bends, or cracks.

The tires on them are awesome Bridgestone Potenzas 009s. They're at least 75% all the way around and I'm expecting them to last me another 1-2yrs. Probably 3-4 seasons if you only use them in the summer months.

I have a set of Gen 1 chrome 17 five spokes with two month old falken ze512s all the way around. One small amount of road rash on one wheel. Other than that, very nice. I am about 35 minutes away from Temperance.

Did you take pics of them on the ls? If not can you

Hummm i thought you were trying to return these to the seller

Something is fishy here.

The guy you bought them from isnt very happy with you. Idk what kind of deal you got but you didnt pay more than $550. Sorry if im blowing up your spot i would just hate for someone to get wronged here.

GL selling if everything is in order.

Well I guess a straight up trade should be in order then.

Just curious why would the seller not be so happy with him? Because he's trying to flip them so early or what?

Either way I don't care as long as they're not stolen. I want my LSE wheels gone and some Jaguar wheels here.

Nope craigslist.

Contacted the guy bc the ad was still up.

This is the email thread. Beginning starts at the bottom. Sorry im on my phone.

Yah I think the guy is trying to scam me, and tryin to get his money back when he lives all the way in Michigan, the wheels are in good shape but they do need 2 new tires, so we actualy went through paypal and their goin to let me know the outcome

Are these still available?

BUT THIS IS HIS SIDE OF THE STORY. MAYBE 66coupe CAN CLARIFY?

Welll Thanks for your input MLara1129 but you might want to find out both sides of the story before saying something wide open in a forum.

I'm not trying to reurn them to the seller, I'm trying to get some of my money back from shipping. I thought the amount he charged was alittle high and after getting them and seeing the shipping cost on the boxes I was not happy!!!!

Like i said before, Once I got them I put them on and did not like the look. so I took them off.

Alex, I will put them back on and take some more pics and let you guys decied.

Oh and I will not trade straight up for a set of wheels, I will only trade plush cash or straight cash.

So anyone still interested in them? Ifnot no biggie, I guess i will just keep them then.

Well the least I'd take for the rims I have is $300. So if anyone wants to buy my rims and then sweeten the deal with some cash to buy Coupe66's rims, that is fine. But I myself really don't have that strong an interest in them. Like I said, they would just sit in a corner for a long time.

Unfortunately this happens all the time.

I sell a lot and thats just the way it is. But if you agree on a final price and pay it well he really doesnt have to accept them back. Or give you any money.

And we both know that the wheels and tires are worth more than $550 anyways. Just because you didnt like the look on your car...well thats a risk we take when buying wheels online and not in person.

I understand this and thats why I'm NOT TRYING TO SEND THEM BACK. I knew if I didnt like them then I could always resell them. All I wanted to do is get some of my money back from the guy I got them from cause he cheated me out of some money on shipping.

66coupe I have felt the same way when paying too much to ship for an item. PM me if you want to talk about a swap for 2006 chrome rims plus cash. I may be interested.

Since I'm so close to you, 66 I'll throw out a possibility. I've got some 06 5-spokes (now my winter wheels) on Michelin Pilot MX Sport tires that have a lot of tread life left on them. The wheels are chrome - I would say they're in decent condition, but not perfect. The previous owner of the car probably did not clean them as religiously as I did when I got the car. There are a few small bubbles near one center cap, and the chrome is flaking slightly on another wheel right at the seam where the front wheel surface stops and the machined rear wheel surface begins.

I wouldn't be crazy about getting new tires for your wheels, but I would probably consider it.

Sorry bud. I did say that is "his side of the story." just trying to clarify some things bc i was interested in them.

Disk- Pm me on what you have in mind!

Tru- Can you send me some pics of them? I can get you a pretty good price on some rear tires. I know I got a quote from my buddy and they start out at 135.00 a tire for the rears which is cheap! lol

Yep, I'll try to get some pics to you this weekend. The wheels are in at my father-in-law's right now (he's got several barns and outbuildings, so it saves my garage space).
