Check them out. My gen 1 rims. Got them for 125 off of craigslist. Another put the add on there and I left half an hour later to go get them. 3 of them are in good condition and 1 has some damage. He said it still held the air in and was just cosmetic. You guy think its fixable? Or am I going to need to get a new rims?

Congrats man!

I've seen worse repaired. On my old Grand Prix I had some 15" Keystone Klassics with a 40 series tire. I was going down a bombed out street pretty fast and hit a chuck hole that went to hell. The beads on the rim were so flared out that the tire instantly lost air. I thought the rim for sure was toast, but this Old school "OG" that has a back alley type shop was able to straighten it out.

Hey..six hundred posts.:p

Cool. Well how much do you guys think this would run? There is a rim on ebay for 99 dollars. It doesn't cost more to fix it than to buy another one. I only paid 31 for each it would suck if I had to get another one for the price of three that I got, its still cheap though

I wouldn't know on price. When I had that rim straightened I think I paid like $15-20 and that was 16 years ago when I was 17. If you call some rim shops they'll most likely be able steer you in the right direction.

Or why not just throw the tires on, and see if it holds air?

I have had a rim fixed before for my Camaro and it ran about $160.00. Rim came back perfect. I suspect you will do better to buy another rim from ebay etc, then the color will be an exact match. Just my 2 cents worth.

BTW, Nice purchase!

I could just throw it on to see of it holds air and just keep the wheel a lot but I am a little picky about it. Evrytime I see it it would bug me and I would forget about it until i saw it again till I finally snap and get it fixed. Yeah it wouldn't be worth it if it cost 160. I will check some tire shops.

That rim will hold air no problem. You can see the seal area that has the black rubber ring around rim. That where tire seals to rim not the outer rim edge. If these where my winter rims I would bang out lip and then dremel kinda smooth and put that rim on pass side rear of car.

Nope, replacing my gen 2 chrome with these. I like the sporty look.

You should try to find a chrome set of these if you are replacing your gen 2 chromes with these. I'll keep my eyes open for ya if I see any around. Anyways i'd replace the wheel seeing how you are planning on keeping these just to keep the aesthetics looking good.

Thank man, I appreciate it but I dont like chrome that much. And I was going to get a chrome set from ls4me real cheap and with tires but I found a picture of them in chrome and I didn't like it. It didn't look as sporty, or atleast not as sporty as the silver. The silver just looks clean. The chrome is nice, but I want sporty. I dont like how the chrome is all flashy and bling. Well the ls chromes aren't but aftermarket chrome rims are.

I was looking to buy stock chrome rims too. Then I read all the problems with flaking chrome on our stock rims and the non heat treating by Ford on some that lead to cracking. I bought the dark grey with machined lip LSE rims instead.

My chrome rims are in great condition. I have an 04. I message LSUNV2 about his lse rims too but he never replied so I went with these. Do you have a gen 1 or 2? Got any pics of the car with them on?

I was quoted aournd 200 for the repair of the rim. This is more than what I got all 4 for. I think I am going to buy one off of ebay. They are about 130 shipped

I check a few but they didn't have the ls. I'm going to take a trip this weekend to other ones.
