I Hate Mustangs Official Thread!

anybody that wants to talk sh!t/hate on a mustang has never driven a 500+ horse KB cobra or is just jealous that a lot of power can come a lot cheaper and easier than an LS

i dont think it gets any better than a 93 5.0 with a pro charger or a 04 4.6 with a Kenny Bell unless your pockets are deep enough for a 09 super snake! please let me know why any of these car suck as you claim, or did you just get beat by a 05 V6 at a stop light last night?
 
the only complaint to mustang i got....everyone and their :q grandma has one. BUT when you see a nicely built/ supercharged one its great. a fast car is a fast car...and mustangs can be made fast.
 
Regardless of power some of us just hate the car. I do, but I cant see this thread making any sense either.

I hate them cause they became an all American type of icon and in my own opinion they are not that stylish what so ever and the common Mustang owner develops a arrogant bias.

Im not jealous, especially not cause I have a LS. If I wanted something that fast I could have easily dumped the money into a car with as much potential that I appreciate. Same can be said for lots of us here.

Just my opinion on it. All this talk out of Mustang owners about Hondas and other imports but they are really just an American version of one in my eyes. Some kind of car you kind find and swap anything into from any junkyard with a huge aftermarket line up as well.

You're right, I stand corrected. I was thinking that the S60 had was riding on the Dew-98 chassis. I was thinking Ford used another Volvo platform, when in this case they shared the one with Jaguar S type.

If your LS got beat by a V6 mustang then something is wrong with your car. I can beat stock automatic GTs all day long. And I know that SRT that you have smokes all factory mustangs

the Mustang sure downgraded in looks when going to this new gen. What's with this weird 2tone tailights...makes me think of a peppermint candy of a sort...and last thing I want people to think about when I'm smoking them in the street or track is about candy!

then it is very obvious that you haven't raced any real mustangs, and a stock SN-95 auto sure as hell doesn't count as a real mustang. what is this untouchable LS level that you speak of?the leather and fake plastic wood, or the monster 3.9 @280HP with absoultly no aftermarket, yeah that real scary, hell, a stock 3V 4.6 will leave a modded LS far behind, how many LS are in the 13's? oh that many huh? how about in the 12's, which is very easy and cheap to do with a pony. don't get me wrong, the LS is a nicely ballanced and good handling SLOW car, when they have the "Fast Fords and Muscle Mustangs" at the local dragway, the slowest pony runs as fast as the fastest LS does. so how about the next time you want to show those "discustang guys" something how about you try to race a real pony, like a bone stock 04 cobra, and afterward you can enjoy a piece of humble pie.
 
yea, there are a few guys on here that have done some real work to make there LS a little less slower, and a couple that may call there LS quick or fast, but come on, it's not gonna be a 11 second car (which isn't even that fast for a mustang) hell a stock 2V 4.6 with only gears could beat an lightly modded LS.
 
If I've ever called my LS fast, it was only relative to a stock LS.

i dont really care, im just saying, if i had a million dollars, i would by a LS over a mustang, maybe i would buy a mustang from the 60's as a classic show car, but why would i want a 04 cobra as a daily driver? most of the fuss about these newer mustangs is the hp? torque? its def. not the style, the 06's look like the 93's just alittle more modern, those mustangs are built either to bring back the old school mustangs- american muscle, or just to soup people heads up, like OOOHHH i have a mustang, I HAVE THE FASTEST CAR IN THE WORLD!, ive seen some beautiful cobras, that would burn the LS, but would that make me get it, only if i think it would be more beneficial to have a "SUPER" fast car, lmao, it takes a real man to have a Luxury Sport sedan and be content with it. i made this thread, not saying that my LS is faster then a "obvious" car with more power, and less doors, but im saying, in the car world, american car world, FORD MADE car world, i thank them that i didnt have to result to a discustang, and am satisfied with my LS,
 
It takes a little kid to have a luxury sport sedan and be content with it.

the "little kid" being my son. Ever tried to get the kid in and out of a baby seat in the back of a 2 door vehicle?
