Okay,

I know i personally dont add much to this forum, i definitely take a lot more than i give...(dont need it said, i already know it is rude to constantly take and never contribute, sorry:))

What i am hoping for is that some of you would be so kind as to contribute a few minutes of your time and participate in a survey i have constructed for an introductory statistics course.

I am not spam, ive been a lurker for many years. I own a 04 LSV8...

Im just a student.

Also, if you have any input on how to improve the survey, it is also much appreicated.

Thank you in advance,

Immanuel

Thanks Everyone

I am 11 responses away from fulfilling the sample requirements. This is normally a group project, but if any of you have had a group project you know one person does most of the work, another does some, and the rest do nothing. I wasnt gonna do the footwork this time for a couple lazy bastards, so im going lone wolf.

Again Thank you to those who participated. I know it's stupid, surveys usually are. But it has been extremely helpful.

HA! yeah why I hated group projects. Or alternatively you have an idiot on the team that does want to work, but won't listen to why it needs to be done differently. So he does it his way(wrong) and drags down the grade as well.

Did the survey btw

Did it. Good luck with stats. That is the one class that I'm glad I passed it the first time around, harder than calculus.

Every group project I've had the pleasure to work on has been the same. I end up having high standards and non-contributing members. It's awful, and guess what, senior design, the class that puts a cap on what we've learned the past 4 years, is the same way. I don't understand the concept of group projects, putting your performance/grade and something you're paying for into the hands of someone else is just asinine.

that was easy. Better than the people that call while you're eating dinner

Done.

I think the concept of group projects is to prepare you to work in groups when you enter the workforce. I've always hated working in groups (I'm rather meticulous and somewhat of a loner), but I eventually learned that work is about meeting the customer's (or bosses) standards and not your own.

Thanks everyone. I have met the min requirements to start doing the leg work on this project.

I greatly appreciate everyone who participated. I was going to create a survey on how many times you fart in a day, and where you farted most. But i had a feeling like people would lie to try and impress me. So i just did something simple.

The average person farts like 32 times a day btw, so says the internet...(i doubt that:rolleyes:)

Done.

Agreed on the concept, but they need to realize that their concept is full of fail.
